Freshman University Student in Debt

I hate to have to ask for money. I just started college at 18 after graduating from high school at the top of my class with a 4.55 GPA, with a bright future ahead of me, but my life has fallen apart. I have stopped going to class because I have to DoorDash before I go to work every single day. I just end up spending all the money on gas. I have to constantly be earning money, so I have missed out on every single hangout with my friends, and now I am losing them. I haven’t even been to church in a year because I can’t afford to spend time at the service. I am ashamed. Even though I am working two jobs and DoorDash, I have to send a lot of my money to my mom back at home to pay for her rent since we lost our house in foreclosure following her and my dad’s divorce.

I have 7 siblings, but they all do not have jobs, either because they are too young or they are just too depressed to work. I am constantly sending them money for essentials like soap. I was just diagnosed with bipolar depression, and I truly feel like my life is falling apart. I do not recognize myself. I have two credit cards that are maxed out, adding up to $3000 worth of debt. I am paralyzed. I just started life, and I already failed. I cannot afford the lat $1,000 payment for my semester at college, and if I do not pay it in a week, then I will have to drop out.

I am so embarrassed, but I am trying my best. I need help. Please. I have no idea what to do, but I know I need to keep going. My father committed suicide recently, and I know that is not an option. I would break my family even more. And they wouldn’t have the money to even bury me. :( Please help. I am sorry.

My CashApp is $3lizaArm. Thank you.

Support for a Young Family Preparing for a Miracle Baby

https://paypal.me/abbiewillett21

My Husband and I are currently going through a very challenging period in our lives, and we are reaching out for support as we try to create a stable future for our growing family.

We are both living at home with family while doing everything we can to save for a place of our own. Our goal has always been to build a safe, secure environment before welcoming a child, but life has not gone to plan. I am currently pregnant, and this baby means everything to us. I have struggled with fertility issues, so being able to carry this pregnancy is something we truly see as a miracle. We are incredibly grateful, but it has also come with unexpected financial and emotional strain.

Recently, I lost my job not long after my pregnancy became known. Since then, I have been actively trying to find new employment, but it has been extremely difficult to secure work while pregnant. Many opportunities fall through, and the uncertainty has made it hard to regain stability. My partner is working, but one income is not enough to keep up with our growing expenses, especially with a baby on the way.

Despite living at home to reduce costs, we are still facing ongoing bills, medical expenses, and everyday necessities that continue to build. We are doing everything we can to budget carefully, cut back where possible, and plan ahead, but we are finding it increasingly difficult to stay on top of everything.

Our biggest hope is to be able to move into our own space before or shortly after the baby arrives. We want to provide a calm, secure environment where we can begin this next chapter as a family. Right now, we feel stuck between trying to prepare for our child and managing financial pressure that keeps setting us back.

Any support we receive will go directly toward essential living costs, preparing for our baby, and helping us move toward stable housing. More than anything, it will give us some breathing room during a time that should be filled with excitement, rather than stress.

We are not asking for a handout lightly. We are working hard, planning for the future, and doing our best to stay positive through a difficult situation. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a meaningful difference in helping us get through this and focus on welcoming our baby into a more secure and supported environment.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you may be able to offer.

Christian Parents of 3 College Students in a Financial Mess – Praying for Help

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to humbly request consideration for financial assistance during a time of significant hardship for our family.

Recently, we have experienced several financial challenges that have made it difficult to keep up with our basic obligations. Our electric and gas utilities are currently at risk of disconnection due to outstanding balances, and we are currently two months behind on our car payment.

A major contributing factor has been a rental property we own. Our current tenant has not paid rent and now owes approximately $7,000. We have made the difficult decision not to renew the lease when it ends on April 30, 2026. In the meantime, we have also had to cover utility expenses for the property, which has added to our financial strain.

At the same time, we are supporting three young adult children who are all full time college students. While two of them are working, they are managing their own financial responsibilities, including car payments which are necessary for them to commute, they do not support our bills. Our third child serves as a resident assistant (RA) at her college, which provides for housing but does not include income for daily expenses, so we assist her with necessities such as food and gas. She has not extra time for an additional job to earn money.

Additionally, we have faced several unexpected home and car repairs, which have further limited our ability to stay current on essential bills like gas and electric. In working to manage these expenses, we have depleted much of our savings in an effort to stay afloat. Our expenses/debts outweigh our income.

We have reached out to our utility companies to request assistance; however, we were informed that our income exceeds their qualification limits. Unfortunately, these determinations do not take into account the full scope of our financial obligations, including significant debt, ongoing hardships, and the responsibility of supporting three children in college.

We owe:
Electric = $2,513.65
Gas = $3,890.36
Capital One Auto = $1,140.90

In the past, our fathers were able to help us during difficult seasons, but both have passed away within the last two years. RJ, has also retired due to health issues, which has reduced our household income.

We are Christians who regularly attend church. This situation has impacted our ability to tithe consistently, which weighs heavily on our hearts. We know the importance of putting God first in our finances, and we remain committed to returning to faithful tithing and giving over to help others in need.  We would like to donate to others on this site rather than be requestors.

We did make a benevolence request to our church.  They told us they usually give $100 or $500 so our request is much larger than what they give.

We are doing everything we can to stabilize our situation and move forward in a healthy financial position. We are standing in faith, trusting that God is our provider and that He will help us overcome this temporary season. It is truly our desire to not only recover, but to one day return to a position to bless others and give generously, just as we have been blessed.

We would be deeply grateful for any assistance  you are able to provide during this time. Thank you for your consideration.

My Elderly Parents Lost Everything to a Scam – Please Help Them Survive

I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

My parents are 80 and 81 years old, living in India. They spent their entire lives working hard, saving little by little, and dreaming of a peaceful old age. But in a cruel moment of deception, everything was taken from them.

They were victims of a credit scam that stole their home, their savings, and their sense of safety. Overnight, their entire life collapsed.

Today, they have nothing.

No home.
No income.
No security.

At an age when they should be resting and cared for, they are instead facing fear, uncertainty, and the unbearable question of how they will survive each day.

Watching my parents go through this is breaking me. They are weak, vulnerable, and completely undeserving of this suffering. They don’t say much—but I can see the fear in their eyes. The quiet loss of hope.

I am trying to raise $60,000 to give them a chance to live their remaining years with dignity:

  • $5,000 for immediate survival—rent, food, and basic needs
  • $15,000 to cover daily living and medical care for the coming year
  • The rest to secure a small, safe home where they can finally feel at peace again

This is not about comfort. This is not about luxury.
This is about giving two elderly people a place to sleep, food to eat, and a life without constant fear.

My parents gave everything they had to build a simple life. They never imagined losing it all to someone else’s cruelty.

Now, I am asking—humbly, desperately—for your help.

Any amount, no matter how small, can make a difference. And if you cannot donate, please share this message. You may be the reason someone else decides to help.

Please help me give my parents back a little safety, a little dignity, and a place to call home in their final years.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.

A Daughter’s Tearful Plea: House Burned, Dad Gone, Crypto Scam Stole My Last Hope—Embarrassed But Begging to Save Us 😭

We are a family of 6 from a highly conservative family. There’s my father, me (25 years old, a private tutor), my mother, and my three younger sisters. Our life shattered when our house got burnt down completely one night—everything gone, just ashes left behind. We had no choice but to move into a rented house, barely big enough for all of us. I started working double shifts as a tutor, and my father as a laborer—we were the two sole earners struggling to meet daily needs and save whatever we could.

Then the worst happened. Our father left us completely. He said my mother couldn’t bear him a son, so he married another woman and abandoned us without looking back. But before leaving, he had taken a massive loan of $48,000 from a local rich old man. Now he can’t repay it, so in exchange, he arranged my marriage to that man. I can’t even think about it—my whole body shakes. My blood ran cold.

I pushed myself harder than ever, denying food and sleep, just to save money and pay off that debt myself. After endless days, I had $6,000 saved—every penny from my blood and sweat. The deadline of May 2,2026 from that man was approaching fast, pressure crushing me. In desperation, I turned to the internet. I saw so many posts about crypto trading, promising quick profits. Under them, comments from people who got benefited: “I turned $1k into $10k overnight!” “These traders changed my life—real results!” They seemed genuine, like normal people sharing their wins. Blinded by hope to save myself and my family, I transferred all my $6,000 savings to their accounts. Minutes later, they blocked me everywhere. My heart sank deep, a sharp pain stabbed my chest like it was tearing apart. That was our last hope, perished. My agony exceeded all limits—I sobbed uncontrollably, feeling broken beyond repair.

In that dark moment, I prayed to God with all my soul, begging for help. To my surprise, I found a blog mentioning websites that help people in need like beggingmoney.com. I’m so embarrassed to seek help like this—never in my wildest dreams did I think my life would bring me to this position, asking strangers for money. But here I am, swallowing my pride for my weary mother and innocent little sisters who look to me for everything. We’re just 5 women now, clinging to survival in this rented shell. The world still has kind people who help without any profit or personal gain. No gain for you just a helping hand. Please, if your heart moves, help us repay this debt and stay together.

Help us escape this nightmare. Goal: $48,000 (or any amount)

Help Me Secure Housing and Get Through This Difficult Season

Hi everyone,

I never imagined I would be in a position where I would have to ask strangers for help, but right now I’m going through a very difficult financial season and I’m doing my best to hold things together.

I’m a newcomer to Canada and over the past several months I’ve been trying hard to build some kind of stability for myself here. I came with hope and the intention of working, settling in, and creating a better future, but things have been much harder than I expected. I’ve been actively applying for jobs, sending resumes, following up, and doing everything I can to find employment, but despite my efforts, I still haven’t been able to secure something stable.

Trying to navigate life in a new country without a strong support system has been overwhelming. There are so many expenses that come with simply trying to survive and stay afloat, and it has been mentally, emotionally, and financially exhausting trying to carry all of this alone.

At the moment, my lease is coming to an end and I’m under pressure to secure another place to live. That has become my biggest concern right now. Between first and last month’s rent, moving costs, groceries, transportation, and basic day-to-day living expenses, I’ve reached a point where I truly need help.

I’m trying to raise $5,000 CAD to help cover:

– First and last month’s rent for a new place
– Moving expenses
– Groceries and transportation
– Basic living expenses while I continue searching for work

This is not easy for me to post. I’m someone who would much rather work for what I need than ask for help, and being this vulnerable publicly is honestly uncomfortable. But I also know that sometimes we all go through seasons where we need a little help to make it through.

I’m still doing everything I can on my end. I haven’t given up, and I’m continuing to search for work and push forward one day at a time. I truly believe this is only a temporary chapter, and I’m praying for the opportunity to get back on my feet soon.

If you feel led to help, even a small amount would genuinely mean so much to me right now and if you’re unable too, even keeping me in your prayers would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any kindness, support, or encouragement you’re able to show. It truly means more than I can express.

A Call for Compassion: Support a Widow’s Journey to Recovery

Life can change in an instant. For me, a dedicated single mother of two and a Registered Nurse, 2024 brought unimaginable challenges. With the devastation of Hurricane Beryl, I lost everything I had worked so hard to build. I lost my property and car to the bank, then the hurricane did the rest, so I am renting a small apartment. As a widow navigating the loss of my husband, who suddenly passed away 7 years ago, the weight of my circumstances feels heavier with each passing day.

My unwavering commitment to my family drives me to continue my education and advance my nursing career. I have recently attained a BSc Degree in Nursing Studies with Distinction from Edinburgh Napier University, and am about to start a specialty program in Midwifery for another year, commencing in May 2026. However, the burden of tuition fees looms large. I know that with further studies, I can provide a better future for my children, but the path is fraught with financial obstacles, from medical bills, tuition fees, to daily living expenses. Each hurdle feels insurmountable when juggling the responsibilities of nurturing my kids and finding a way to heal from my profound losses.

Today, I reach out to your community, seeking your compassion and support. Every contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and put to good use and will bring me one step closer to regaining my footing. Your kindness can help cover tuition costs, medical bills, essential household expenses, and reduce my loans, allowing me to focus on my studies and provide the care my children and my patients deserve. In a world where storms can take so much, I want to be the beacon of hope that restores faith in humanity. Imagine the impact we can make together.

If you’re able to lend a helping hand, please consider donating to help me rise from the ashes of despair and rebuild my life. Together, you can empower my journey and ensure that my family not only survives but thrives. Thank you for your generosity and compassion.

Desperate Mom and College Student

Hello,

My name is CC and I am a desperately seeking help to get out of mounting debt, hopefully get back into college (working on my master’s in clinical nutrition), and prepare for a possible divorce. Currently, my husband and I are currently at an impasse and on the road to divorce. We have one 7-year-old daughter and share/own a home that we were blessed to purchase in cash due to money he inherited from his grandfather. However, because of this, he’s been demanding that I leave/move out and I do not have the funds to afford a new place nor do I have the money to afford divorce costs.

I am also a college student working on achieving my master’s degree after I received my bachelor’s degree in dietetics and nutrition. I am so close to the finish line with less than 10 classes left and have been unable to continue due to student loans coming due and unable to secure new loans due to previous loans coming due. I work as a night auditor for a Marriott hotel and I do not make enough to get ahead of mounting debt. With the impending divorce on my horizon, I am absolutely terrified that I will lose everything, end up homeless if I cannot find the funds to find a new living situation, and won’t be able to afford a divorce attorney to fight for my daughter as well as everything else. I like to think that my faith in God is as strong as possible, but if just feels like there truly as forces determined to continue to break me down.

If at all possible, I am begging for help from some kind soul. Thank you in advanced to anyone who reads my story, and if you find it in your heart, your help would be truly invaluable and you would be my savior.

My paypal is paypal.me/cicitanner or my cashapp is $ciaratan.

Emergency Money for Mortgage and Utilities

Dear Potential Donors,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Wanda Morris and I am reaching out today to share my story and humbly ask for your support during this challenging time in my life. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have faced tremendous financial and personal hardships that have left me struggling to make ends meet.

Before the pandemic, I was gainfully employed and working hard to build a stable and secure future. However, like millions of others, I was laid off during the economic downturn caused by COVID-19. What I initially thought would be a temporary setback has turned into years of difficulty, as the job market has remained challenging, and I have been unable to secure consistent employment despite my best efforts.

During this period, I have applied to countless job opportunities, attended training programs to enhance my skills, and reached out to various organizations for assistance. Unfortunately, the job market remains highly competitive, and securing stable employment has proven to be an uphill battle. The financial strain has been overwhelming, and I am now facing the reality of unpaid bills, mounting debt, and the risk of losing my home.

My savings have been completely depleted, and I am struggling to afford basic necessities such as food, utilities, and transportation. Each day is a constant challenge to keep moving forward, and while I remain hopeful, I cannot do this alone. That is why I am turning to the kindness and generosity of people like you.

Any donation, no matter how small, would make a significant difference in my life. Your support would provide me with the means to cover essential expenses, keep a roof over my head, and allow me to continue searching for employment without the immediate threat of financial ruin. More than just financial relief, your kindness would restore my faith in humanity and remind me that I am not alone in this struggle.

I understand that times are tough for many, and I deeply appreciate any help you can provide. Whether it’s a donation, sharing my story, or offering words of encouragement, your support means the world to me. If you are able to contribute, you can do so through PayPal.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story and consider my request. Your generosity and compassion have the power to change lives, and I am profoundly grateful for any assistance you can offer.

With gratitude,

Wanda

Car Accident

I was driving down a rural highway when someone in a large vehicle came up behind me with their high beams on. I took my foot off the gas hoping they would pass me. They went around me but didn’t clear my car before merging back into the lane. I tried to swerve to avoid being hit but went off the road and hit a tree. And they kept driving, never to be found. I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Thankfully nothing was broken, just some sprains and strains and deep bruising on my chest and stomach. My car was considered a total loss. My insurance only paid about a third of what was still owed on the car. I had no medical coverage with my auto insurance and my work insurance didn’t cover the ER bill. So now I’m stuck with paying $9000 for a car I can not do anything with an ER bill that is just over $4000. And need a vehicle to provide for my family. I am a single widowed mom and I am also raising my grandson. I work a full-time job but after I pay bills and buy food I’m out of money. I don’t get any kind of assistance.  Please help me get things going in the right direction again. https://paypal.me/raynedragon76

Never a Deadbeat Dad: Help Me Fight Wrongful Dismissal and Stay Afloat

My spiraling started right after my divorce was finalized. Almost immediately, I lost my job and had to scramble for a new one just to start paying child support. I was shocked when they began taking 65% of my paycheck—turns out Michigan law allows up to 50-60% of disposable income for support orders depending on circumstances, and it hit me hard. I fought to keep working, but the high garnishment left me with almost nothing some weeks—sometimes $20, sometimes $0 after they double-dipped on arrears. I lost my apartment and my car because I couldn’t keep up. I became homeless in effect, relying on family to survive.

Thank God for family who let me stay with them and borrow a car—it kept my expenses low while I kept working no matter what. I refused to be labeled a “deadbeat dad.” I paid every bit I could, even when it meant barely eating or surviving paycheck to paycheck.

When my kids turned 18, I thought the nightmare was over—no more child support, I’d finally keep what I earned and rebuild. But then I was wrongfully let go from my job. Someone less qualified was put in my position simply because they wanted it, and I was pushed out. It felt like a deep betrayal after years of loyalty and hard work. I couldn’t let it go—I filed a lawsuit for wrongful termination/discrimination. Now others from the same company are coming forward with similar stories of unfair treatment, so maybe this could help more people, but I’m the one paying the price.

The lawsuit is ongoing, but legal fees are piling up fast. At the same time, my current part-time job (barely 30 hours a week) barely covers rent and lights—I’m always behind, scraping by month to month. My car is literally falling apart; I need it fixed to reliably get to work and not lose this job too.

I’ve been through eviction threats, zero-dollar paychecks, job loss after job loss, but my faith has kept me going. I thank God every day for not letting me give up. All I want—for once—is to get ahead: pay off these mounting legal fees so I can focus on the case without drowning in worry, catch up on bills, fix my car, and have a small buffer in the bank so I’m not one bad month from disaster.

I’m asking for help to reach $10,000 (or more if possible). This would cover:

  • Legal fees to keep fighting the wrongful termination case.
  • Getting current on rent and utilities.
  • Car repairs for dependable transportation to work.

I’m not asking to “fix my life” overnight—just a real chance to stand on my own again after years of setbacks. To all the good dads out there who’ve paid support faithfully, lost everything, and kept fighting: I see you, and I don’t want to give up either. If someone could just say, “I got you,” it would mean the world.

If you can donate any amount, it will help more than you know. I’ll keep this updated with progress on the lawsuit and how donations are used. Thank you from the bottom of my heart—may God bless you abundantly for any help you give.
