I am 35 years old have an amazing job and life but it is a struggle keeping the things I have worked hard for? I was diagnosed with major endometriosis at the age of 9, and until I started major EMDR/PTSD therapy a year ago I had no idea that my issues with fertility are from being molested as a child. I am a recovering addict who has been molested, and raped twice. My innocence was stolen from me at the age of 5, and when I turned 18 I got into a relationship with a man who has emotionally and physically abused me for 18 years until I got the courage to leave him over memorial day weekend. I literally took my dog and clothes. He was controlling so every dime I had saved he kept because the bank accounts are in his name. I have asked every one I know for help until I get paid again because I spent my whole paycheck on a place to live but non profits have no funding due to covid and it being the first of the month. I am owning my story so that others know you do not have to stay with an abuser, and that if you ask for help God will take care of you. I may have a negative balance in my bank account, but I’m free from the slavery I was put through my whole life. I forgave them, and just need some help to move forward in life.
