Please Help,
My name is Rafael I am 47 yrs old and I find myself facing a very tough situation. I have lost my job, my home and family due to unexpected severe circumstances. I am feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about what to do next. I am homeless and receiving some temporary assistance from the government, however it it is temporary.
I am a father of a 13 yr old girl , I am Disabled with a Mental Health Disability/Disorder, I am a victim of domestic violence and divorced. Currently I have shelter provided for me with a bed and a sense of belonging. I have been introduced to support groups and local resources to help me with basic necessities. I do not have the support of Family.
I attend several appointments with a few psychiatrists, therapists and a primary doctor to help with my mental condition but I cannot work, not at the moment. I have been diagnosed with this disorder since 2022. I’m nervous but hopeful that I can get back on my feet not just for myself but my daughter too.
I have faced my damaging personal challenges that have led to my disability from a very young age that has made it hard for me to move on from and so I’m needing help to get past this last hurdle. I often feel discouraged, but i refused to give up. I attend support groups at and per doctors I have made much progress.
I do not own any type of transportation, my bank account has been closed for lack of funds since 2022 and I don’t own any property or assets. With help, perseverance and determination I feel that my quality of life will improve and greatly help with managing my mental health and perhaps help to pursue my passion for writing.
I hope to save enough money to rent a small place far away from a toxic environment, aggressive individuals and hopeless situation.
And so, in the heart of generosity, compassion and hope my story can become a beacon of hope for others in a similar situation. This journey from homelessness to stability, along with the friendships will inspire others to believe in their own potential to help those in the face of adversity, and with your support, determination, and a positive outlook, I will overcome obstacles and find my way to a brighter future.
