So, I will begin by saying that I am in a bad position right now financially. I am permanently disabled and as of 10/2022, I started receiving Social Security. I have a mortgage on my home with a balance of $24,000. I have $75,000 in equity. I have $5000 in credit card debt. Because I had no income for almost a year, I had missed and late payments which has resulted in a “bad credit score”. I have tried every institution that advertises loans for people like me and no one will help. My home is in serious need of repairs. My bathroom floor is rotten from leaks. I also discovered for sone reason, when it rains, water is running down my living room wall.
