What is needed is between $3,000 and $4,000.
It is needed to pay bills that are due by the end of this month (November 2018) and during the following month (December 2018), during which time I will, hopefully, start and keep a new job and make it thru getting my first paycheck.
The bills that need to be paid include rent, electricity, phone, insurance (renter’s and vehicle), and car payments. Any extra will be put towards food and possibly gifts for my children for Christmas.
This situation came about because of the loss of my most recent job (taxi driver) due to conflicts with the owner of the company (small business with usually less than 8 employees and a very controlling owner/boss). After 3 years working for the company I was still being called a liar, told I did not know how to drive, I waited until the last second to use the brakes causing passengers to be thrown forward, talked about company-only business to customers, “broke” his vehicles (which are all used vehicles with over 200,000 miles and NO mechanic upkeep so they break down continuously), and have a problem with “black” people. None of which is true according to customers and former fellow employees I talked to.
This stressful situation led to the reactivating of ulcers that I had been diagnosed with years earlier and had striven to ease. The daily continuous driving led to an increased back pain issue that now inhibits me from sitting or standing in the same position for more than thirty minutes at a time. As I have been unable to afford to pay for medical insurance, due to the irregularity of my paychecks (work hours varied day by day, some days two hours and some days more than twelve but usually adding up to less than seventy per two week pay schedule), I have been unable to actually have a doctor check out my back.
I am searching for a job that will enable me to use my knowledge from school (Bachelor’s in Computer Science and one in Accounting) and/or my favorite hobbies (needlework – sewing by hand and machine, cross stitch, knitting, embroidery, etc. except crochet – and baking/cooking). I would prefer something local or from home with flexible hours as I have a friend who is handicapped and her husband cannot always take her to appointments. I am also slightly claustrophobic so an office type environment is not my preferred place of employment.
To sum this up, I need enough money to pay the current and past due bills I have for November and December 2018 while I look for a job that will allow me to help my friend while still paying my bills without aggravating either my ulcers or my back problem. I know it is a lot to ask but I am hoping and praying that help will come my way.
Thank you and God bless you.
