So here it is. I have been in La Paz, MX since September 2018. Looking back I made quite a few bad decisions.
I left my corporate job and hit the road with my dog. I had a small chunk of money thought I could survive and make money on the way. I was wrong.
I have done survey sites, worked every online angle I can. I have hustled and hustled trying just to survive. At this time I can’t even make it back to the US. My gas tank is empty, my rent is due, I have no food, and no resources to get help. If I did make it back I have no place to return to, and no job that pays enough to even live, let alone deposits and first and last.
I recently was hired on at LatinHire. They take all shifts worked until the 20th of a month and pay the next month on the 20th. I will not have my first shift until May 27th. This means I will not get paid until July 20th. In this time I have rent, electric, cell costs, and food for me and my dog. This does not even include gas to go get these things.
I need to find $900 as soon as possible or I face the real chance of being homeless in Mexico with no resources. No home means no internet which in turn means the job I just got will be lost.
My rent is $200 for two months is $400 total. This gives me $500 for utilities and food/gas. I have lived on less for food but beans get real difficult to survive on for 60 days, I have done it already. My body hates me for it. My phone is roughly $10 per month and my electric is around $50 per month. Gas is crazy expensive but luckily I am not needing to drive much except to pick up groceries and water.
I need help and I hate asking but I need it. This will get me through to a payday of roughly $1125. That is enough to live and be comfortable. Not glamorous by any means but comfortable.
I live in an apartment with no furniture other than a table and camping chairs. I do have a bed at least.
