Loan Debt help

Hello. I had no idea that a site like this even existed. I hope someone can help me out.

I desperately need some help. In May of 2019, my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, and we had to use a lot of our saved money to use for her medical bills for the chemo, etc. And we had to take out loans just to make ends meet, and now all of our money is going straight to the loans every month. To top it off, she also has moderate dementia. She didn’t before, but it just progressed into it and so I had to quit my job altogether. I’m a motion graphics video editor. So I can easily work from home, but it was too hard to do all of this at once.

Most of these loans are close to $500 a month, and altogether it’s like $2,500 a month which my mom pays now. She makes about $5,800 a month from her retirement, that’s split up through the month, which is enough. But since I quit my job, her retirement has also become my main source of paying all of my bills too. Her money really needs to be used for her own bills. I wish I could go back to work, but it’s just too much to do all of this while I take care of her. I wish I could get help from my family, but they don’t want to help. They just put it all on me. It’s been stressful. Also, I would have given up my apartment by now, but didnt know any of this would happen, and by this point, my extra money was gone. My apartment is in a different state from where she lives.

I would like to ask if I can get about 10k so I can get rid of these high loans, which is the main problem. It would be such a great help and a blessing and a reset. Oh, and to add to this, my mom’s so-called “financial advisor” really started all of this. She had money in her 401k account or something like that, and when we told him about the cancer stuff, he just shrugged it off and told us to get a loan which started this debt nightmare. He let us eventually get money out, but by that point, the damage was already done. We were good before all of this. After my dad passed away, he left me about 150k, and I was able to pay off my debt and hers, which was about 50k at the time.

But 10k would reset us again. Or anything can help really. A lot of these loans are doubled up now and if we don’t pay these by the end of this month or the next due dates which some start on the 27th of May, I don’t know what they will do. Please help!!!
