I am a 58yr old single male living alone in a house my former roommate and I shared. My dog developed anxiety due to all the yelling and fighting between him and his friend. Few years ago, my roommate overdosed and while I was at work, the kid took everything I owned from my room. After I started going through my roommates things, I discovered he had been behind on all the bills, had maxed all the credit cards, including mine, by buying him and the kid whatever they wanted. Creditors began calling threatening to sue since I owe so much they’re threatening to garnish my wages. So, here’s my problem. I was left with a 20 year old vehicle, I have no health insurance and can not even afford an inhaler. My dog needs her valium and also needs some vet visits. I am behind on the rent and utilities, and struggling to survive. I can not even afford clothes or simple things like food. I have worked all my life and for my roommate to betray me and leave me in debt and alone. The bankruptcy attorney wants 1,300 as well. This I feel is the last chapter in my life and I’m tired of bad luck and struggling financially. I’ve been suffering from mood swings and deep depression once again which is affecting my life and j0b. I would like to talk to a therapist but can not afford that. I am at the age where I’m going to need medical help or emergency money for that. I would like to go to the dentist every so often as well. So I’m asking for donations to get me to where I have extra money for bills, for the dog, and just money for me for once. This final act in the movie of my dismal life I would like to win for once. You all know the feeling you get when the underdog comes from behind and finally gets redemption for once in his life? That’s the feeling I would like to experience my last 20 or so years. I’ve paid my dues, and would like to know how it feels to have money and not stress over it. My whole life I’ve been there for my friends when they needed money, even if I didn’t have it. I would appreciate anything you fine people could do for me and my beloved dog. I need her with me to help me through life and all its hurdles. So, I’ve lived a dog’s life, hectic and full of bad luck. So, if you would reach into your hearts and wallets to give what you can, I’m hoping i’ll have enough to help me get ahead of things and to have money for emergencies. I have no other ideas but to rely on the hearts of kind souls. I’m even thinking ahead and if I get financially stable I was considering maybe opening some kind of shelter for kids so they don’t have to go what I’ve been through.
