Just trying to survive

Hi. Thank you for taking time out of your own life to read about mine. I wish I could write something exciting but instead I’ve gotta write about asking for help. I’ve never been one to ask for help so this isn’t something I know how to do. Hopefully what I do write is good enough to get the help I need.
I’ll start off telling you that I’m trying to support a family of three on just what I make. We have all the bills every homeowner would have. We signed to buy our home back in 2009 when my husband had no health problems. Things were going smooth up until a few years ago. He woke up one morning and his left eye just didn’t seem right. Everything was cloudy. After a day or so of it being like that he went ahead and went to the Dr. She referred him somewhere and that place referred him somewhere else. By the time he was able to find a doctor that knew what was going on it was already too late. The nerves in his eye were dying. About six months later he again woke up with the same thing going on with the right eye. He didn’t waste anytime he went straight to the last eye doctor he seen and they confirmed that the same thing is happening to his right eye. At the time COVID had hit so they weren’t able to run this test they wanted to run to find out exactly what it is and they still haven’t ran the test but everything that’s happened shows signs of him having LHON. (Leber hereditary optic neuropathy.) My husband had always been a hard working man. Even on his days off he’d spend time in the garage working on our vehicles or someone else’s. So he’d never really have a day off. He continued to do what he could and worked as much as he could until he wasn’t able to even do the simplest tasks at work. Finding a tool for another employee was something he couldn’t even do. That’s when we decided that maybe we should apply for disability. I started the process of filling everything out and finally got it all submitted. We waited. He was denied. So we went ahead and contacted an attorney. My husband spoke with them in April of this year. Shortly after that my husband had some other health problems. We got him seen and that’s when we found out he now has cancer too. What a horrible thing to hear. I spent days crying about the news. You marry someone because you want them to be your forever.. Then after I heard this news I instantly was scared that my forever can be taken from me sooner than I ever even thought about. I often find myself taking a step back and asking myself if we are just horrible people that deserve this? I can’t see how we could be.  We are just normal people who had been working their life away providing for our family and trying to teach our kids how to be good people. Yes we do have two children. Our son is 25 and now lives on his own with his two kids but our daughter is younger living at home still. My husband is only 43 years old and I’m currently 42. I work as much as I can and I see I’m running myself into the ground. I no longer have time to take care of me. I struggle every month to pay bills. No longer have the time to even get into the dentist and now I’ve got a couple teeth that are infected. Not to mention that my knee needs surgery but I can’t even think about getting that done because I can’t not work we’d have nothing if I did. (I do inspections so I’m on my feet all day long.) My savings is now all gone and I knew it was time for me to just ask anyone that would listen. I’m just hoping I’m able to get some kind of help. I don’t know where else to turn. Could you please help us? https://www.paypal.me/JessicaColestock7C503B93B-FC90-418C-B4B6-0D4A1C2267F0.jpeg
