My wife and I are due to bring my baby boy wyde home soon from nicu anyday now! For months, I’ve been trying obtain a decent car, apartment for us to have before he was born! Our living arrangements are a very uncomfortable situation and no way fit for an adult so you can only imagine trying to have a newborn! Why so bad you ask? Well the basement is full of black mold, not to mention there is 9 other people living there, more than that on the weekends! There is any and every kind of bug in that house you can imagine plus mice, animals! No matter how much I clean and tidy the house it’s never enough! The other people living there just don’t care, they are nasty trashy, don’t pick up or clean after there self! We stay locked up in our small little room to keep away from all that! Huge holes in the walls everywhere, dishes piled up for days, floors rotting away, trash and coke cans everywhere! It should be condemned! It’s about 30 minutes from our main town which makes it difficult to get there to have any chance of getting anything done! We can maybe get a ride to town once a week, very little window to get anything done! Which brings me to my next issue is getting a reliable car! Not only for me to be able to work but for baby doctor appointments, our doctor appointments, food shopping, Laundry, other things that arise! As of right now, we don’t have a clean stable place to take our baby and it’s very upsetting to us! I’ve explored many options, been to many places to try and get assistance but to no aliv! I’m lost and don’t know where to turn! My boy deserves so much better than what we have had to call home! I spend many nights upset and stressed trying to pull us out of the bad situation! I’m needing a helping hand to give us a jump start! With these necessities I’d be able to maintain but without them I fear what could come! I don’t want to lose my son! I love him! He needs his parents! We’ve been dealt a unwelcoming hand, its been very hard to overcome! My wife isn’t the same women she was! I would love to get her back to normal! By having an apartment and car, It would be getting us on the right track to having my little family safe and together! When covid hit my wife and I lost everything, was forced to move into as we call it “hell” life hasn’t even been any kind of normal! We forget what a normal life is like! The people we live with steals many of our things! Have ruined anything and everything we have! Runs off friends! Rude, disrespectful, disgusting! Takes us for granted, takes advantage, knowing we have no where else to go! If you could help us move onto better things! God bless!
