I guess I’ve been in denial for a long time now. Not sure how I make it past today to be perfectly honest. Look I understand that there are problems far greater than mine. Better reasons to give to someone else I’m sure. Even so, I hope you can at the very least hear me out.
Last year around this time I got sick. Like 9 emergency room visits in 6 weeks sick. First it was a panic attack, then it was a myocardial contusion then it honestly got to a point where the doctors didn’t know what was happening to me.
I didn’t even think about the bills at the time because my health was my priority. So I didn’t have health insurance and I made 9 emergency room visits, that included every monitor and scan you can think of, multiple times having blood drawn for tests, follow up meetings with doctors and don’t even get me started on all of the medicines.
But it’s my health right. What was I supposed to do, just give up on living? Of course not, so I emptied my savings, maxed out my credit cards and liquidated my retirement all in the name of repairing my health.
Now just a year later, I workout every day, I’ve lowered my stress as much as possible given the circumstances; but because of my health scare I’ve been unemployed for 9 months now (no unemployment benefits and didn’t qualify for food stamps if you’ll believe it); but I did just get cleared by my doctor to work for Uber and Lyft which if all goes well I can begin by October 27th with a car I’ll be renting from them; and they pay daily so that’ll be nice!
The unfortunate part is that my bank account as you can see in the picture is nearing the negative and Chase is going to take out $12 today for being under their $1,500 rule.
I tried to get a personal loan but that was a dead end. My credit cards are still maxed out. And My family members are all unable to help financially.
HERE’S WHERE I NEED YOUR HELP.
I need a bridge to get me to October 27th. My expenses over the next 10 days or so are simple but costly.
I just need 2 grocery store visits (that include basic food for me to cook all week long plus my supplements that are cheaper than what the medicine at the pharmacy would cost) worth about $250 each visit ($500 total); I figure I can live without TV and other luxuries for a few days but if I could just receive a little help with the necessities, IT WOULD GO A LONG WAY.
If you can help, that would be greatly appreciated and I would love to keep in contact with you about how I plan on paying it forward once this UBER and LYFT job works out.
THANK YOU FOR EVEN MAKING IT THIS FAR
