I don’t have a set amount of money in mind. It’s been one thing after another. For starters I was in a car accident back in February and the driver that hit me sped off and unfortunately I didn’t have collision on my insurance so I ended up having to sell my car in May. I saved up for a down payment on a new vehicle by June. In that same month my rent went from $865 to $1,115.
I tried working out a payment arrangement where i pay 865 by the 10th and 250 by the 26th but they declined. I get paid every two weeks and my checks are around $1,200 after taxes. So instead of struggling to pay that along with other bills ; I decided to look elsewhere and pick up an extra job so I’m able to cover saving up to move more comfortably.
But I still needed a car to get around so I put money down on a car just after I got hired at my second job. But the dealership for (Used Vehicles) did not have a title so I had to wait a week and a day. Which meant I had to push back my start date a week out. The job I got is pretty flexible in the sense that even though you’re part-time you can work full-time hours. On the flip side they will send you home if they have enough people working on that shift. My schedule was originally 6pm-2am on top my main job which is 7am-4pm. But some nights they request us to be there by 4pm which I can’t do so I can’t work a full week which prompted me to look into getting a replacement second job or possible third job and I ended up finding one.
However, 2 weeks into driving my car it doesn’t start up one afternoon, and I had to have it towed to a mechanic who basically tells me I need to replace too many components on the car. Its been a full week since I’d driven my car. The dealership I got it from offered to fix the car. But I have to buy the parts which range from $25-$500. All of this is happening and I haven’t even paid my first car payment yet or insurance payment on top of not being able to work my second job since I can’t afford Lyft to get to both jobs. Also pushing my start date for the third job from the week of 7/14 to 7/31. All while trying to save money to move out.
I do not like asking for money but I don’t want to let my pride keep me from opportunities that could possibly help. I thank you advance for ANY donations.
