My name is Allamanda( a beautiful Caribbean flower). I just want to start off by saying, thank you for taking the time to read my story.
I am currently, seeking help to get caught up on rent and bills. I am a single mother of 3 boys and they are my world. I have fallen on to hard times because while working at a group home I was attacked and stabbed by one of the children. I left the facility due to not being able to mentally preform my duties and feel safe, like I had the support of my employer. I was able to collect unemployment, but because I had to fight the job for it and prove my case it took a while to receive it. When I was finally able to receive UI benefits I was behind in rent, car payment and insurance. I maxed out my cards to stay on top of everything that I could. Now my unemployment ended and I finally received a job offer that worked with my schedule so I do not have to add childcare to my plate. I will not be able to begin training until next month. I also, have the opportunity to move to a different state that would provide a better living situation and opportunity for not only myself, but for my children to thrive in their education and sports that each one are in, all while being able to keep my current job offer. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be able to move until I am caught up on everything. I can’t break my lease unless the full $2,200 is paid( then he said he’ll give me my deposit, which I can use for the uhaul trailer ) I need to put insurance back on my car ASAP to be able to drive to our new opportunity, since there is no public transportation and to pay my car payment so they don’t come and take it. I need to pay off my credit cards, so that I would be able to use for gas and food to get there and to have a fresh start without debt. With the job I’ll be able to stay on top of things. It’s just hard being so far behind and trying to figure out what to do because I’m putting everything towards catching up on rent, to avoid eviction but now my insurance canceled and car isn’t paid for this month. I apologize for rambling I just have so much on my plate and I know others do as well. I just really need this push up on my feet and I will be able to take off running. I’ve tried everything, all the way to trying to take a loan to consolidate into one payment( which I would’ve been able to handle), but the banks turned me down due to my credit dropping. I came across this platform and figured hey why not ask. Anything will help honestly and I will forever be grateful and will not mess up this opportunity, I need this for the security of my boys future and their safety that’s what matters to me.
