Hi. My car insurance is due and I have no idea how I’m going to pay it. Many online jobs aren’t available to me since I’m outside of the US and Canada. Honestly, I just need some help.
I grew up without my dad and my mother raised me on her own. She could not afford to send me to university so I took student loans to go. I graduated in 2019 but I could not afford to stay in the city to get a job in my field because I had to pay back my loans. I moved back home and I got a job at a call center. After being there a few months I got a job in an insurance company as a customer service representative. I wanted to be in an analytical role since that was more aligned with my career path. I applied for a job within the company. I was accepted but I would have to move to the city and the pay would not be more. I finally got a job in my field last August but it was 3 hours from where my mom lives. I had to relocate to try and further my career. I’m still paing off my student loans. I have $2,500 USD left.
I need to drive my car to get to work because public transportation is not good in my area. In trying to save money, I tried calling a taxi driver that would be willing to pick me up. I have to leave home at 5:50 to catch the staff bus at 6:20. After calling the taxi a few times, he started coming late and then he started to make sexually suggestive comments. Last December, one morning after he drove off he started rubbing my neck and arms. I went back home and I did not go to work. I decided I’d start driving.
I renewed my car insurance policy last December. The company doesn’t allow monthly payments. I really need the car to get to work. I can’t drive the car without insurance.
I have been doing my best to stay afloat but I had to go to the doctor this month and I spent the money I reserved for my insurance. The 2nd payment is due on March 16. The period of insurance is March 16-December 16. It’s $252.73 US Dollars which is $38,680.38 Jamaican Dollars.
I’ll give you the proof you need. I know it’s a lot to ask. Anything is appreciated. Thank you
