I really do not like asking for help as I am sure others have read time and time again but it’s become pretty difficult over the last year to stay afloat. A little bit about me. I am a 22-year-old guy who is currently looking for a second job to earn extra money, fortunately, I still have one but I am a bit nervous about losing it due to not meeting certain monthly metrics. I live with my significant other and we both are barely making ends meet due to my foolishness. A year ago, I was doing well enough for myself but when covid struck. I lost a huge portion of my income, now I am stuck with this insanely high car payment that I cannot afford and need about 5000 dollars to get out of it. I am looking for places to sell the car and have found a few but due to the selling value of the car, I am left with about 5000 dollars or so of negative equity that I need to pay upfront. I am stressed beyond belief due to my fear of losing my job and not being able to take care of my love. I never want her to face any hardships or troubles due to my incredibly foolish mistakes with thinking I could afford this car. I do not want to ask but if things go south with my job, I will do what it takes to hustle to protect the happiness of my woman.
