I am in a situation that I never expected to be in. Though this time of year is usually difficult when it comes to money, because of unforeseen issues I have been struggling to pay for daily costs, my bills, and my student loans. I work as an English teacher and a nanny but I only get paid once and twice a month. However, because of a problem with my bank I will not be receiving my paychecks until at least next month. Unfortunately without the money I might end up losing both jobs.
I usually find a way to make up for any loose ends, but right now I’m behind on my student loan payments, unable to pay for gas to get anywhere, and pay for food to eat. I’ve also been forced to stop taking my medicine for ADD, anxiety and depression, and chronic migraines, because I am unable to afford them at this time, which has made working and general life much more difficult.
I really love what I do, working with and teaching children, but I’m afraid that what has been happening this month and has made working harder and made the learning environment worse the children themselves. It’s my worst fear because I really just want to be able to do the best for the kids I work with.
At this point I’m asking for $1,800 to pay for my medications, my bills, my gas, food, and mounting student loans. I’ve used my savings for graduate school to live on, they’re gone and I’m afraid I’m close to losing my jobs if I’m unable to pay for necessities this month. I will keep my head up and keep hope, please help me make it through with $1,800.
