Hello, and God bless for taking time out of your day to consider help for me. I am a 100% disabled veteran. I am blind in my right eye, and have diabetes, and my kidneys are at 12%. I do receive a military pension, but getting paid once a month is a struggle.
I have already put one daughter through college, she graduated from Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas. I now have another daughter attending the University of Houston. She is a Cougar and starts her second year in August. I also have a 20 year old daughter who lives with my wife and I and my 12 year old and my 8 year old daughter. I am 54 years old, my wife is 43. My 20 year old daughter has cerebral palsy, she can’t walk and has limited vocabulary. She was born with brain damage.
My wife’s mother and father lives with us as well, as my wife takes care of them as well. I would love to do something special for my wife, because she is the life-line of my family, SHE TAKES CARE OF EVERYONE!
My situation is me trying to put my daughter through college with a military pension. She does receive assistance through the Hazel Wood program, but it seems like every week she is asking for money, and I try my best to help her, but I have gone into debt in getting payday loans to keep her afloat. I have three that are in collections, and four others I am currently paying on.
I’m trying to keep food in the house and pay all the bills on my military pension. My wife can’t work because taking care of her parents and my 20 year old daughter is a full time job, and not to mention I am starting dialysis three times a week pretty soon.
If I had money to pay these payday loans off, it would free up my military pension and I could properly keep my head above water. My wife and I are trying to get Social Security for my 20 year old daughter, but it is a tedious process.
I make my last payment on my 2018 Nissan Rougue in a few weeks, so that would free up about $535 my daughter who goes to U of H will take possession of that car, and I have been helping her pay over $400 a month in car insurance. I am also paying off an Imac book computer she uses for school amongst other expenses. Anything you could help with would be a blessing and greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.
