Hello, my name is Seth Rufus,
I am a father of 3 beautiful girls that are 12, 17, and 21. I am also a husband to an amazing wife Tory Rufus. Me and my wife work fulltime to support our family. I work in warehousing while my wife work in customer service relations. My oldest daughter who is 21, her name is Taryn got hurt on the job and got laid off and unable to work for some time now. I got into a major car accident last year in January 2018 and my back has never been the same, so it’s a struggle to do what I used to do especially in the line of work that I am in which is hard general labor. We also take care of both sets of our elderly parents. Both of our fathers had major surgery. My dad had major heart surgery and is now disabled and so is my wife’s father. He had surgery to repair an artery which then turned into several infections and was bedridden for several months. My wife needs surgery due to blood loss and needs a hysterectomy. She works tirelessly even though she doesn’t feel good 90 percent of the time, she doesn’t want to take time off because we are already behind on bills. We are struggling to make ends meet and we have a home that is in dire need of repairs. We barely make it paycheck to paycheck and we are struggling bigtime financially as we have mounting credit card debt, we are unable to repair our home. We barely survive on our paychecks. We are also faced with being behind on our mortgage and now we need to repair our means of transportation to and from work. As a man it is very difficult to ask for help, I’m used to taking care of my family, but it got so much harder because I am also taking care of my parents and in laws. My parents are struggling financially, and I wish I could do more for them but I’m doing the best I can. I am asking for financial help to help us back on track financially and to survive. We are trying to stay positive and do the best we can and make sure that we each don’t give up, which is easier said than done. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and we wish you well in all your endeavors. Thank you.
