The pandemic has had a major impact on my life. As a PCA for my dad who has a chronic illness (multiple sclerosis) I do not have enough time to work. I enjoyed working with children on the autism spectrum at my previous job but had to resign from my position to be able to help my father.
I was working as a server at nights for extra money for groceries but the restaurant had to shut down due to covid-19 pandemic causing them to close and go out of business. Without the extra income I have been forced to use everything I have for my rent and fall far behind on bills.
A financial help would help me get back on my feet as I live alone with a rent bill and old house that requires me to pay a lot in oil and electric bills. I have a four month old puppy my roommate and me had found and rescued but he was left in my care and pet insurance has been hard to come by.
When my roommate moved out to go live in Maine and take care of family I was forced to use all of my savings I had been saving for a vehicle. I was so close to getting a car but using the money I had saved to maintain my apartment got in the way of that plan. Paying for transportation is expensive in the rural area i live in as there is only one expensive cab company and no uber or lyft service. I would so graciously appreciate a donation to get me back on my feet.
I cannot wait to have a vehicle to get to help my family faster and conveniently. And when I finally get a vehicle I hope to find a companionship job to work for the elderly as well. I also would love to use a donation to get groceries like healthy fruits, vegetables, and meats instead of microwave food and canned meals. This pandemic has eliminated the main source of income for my good health habits.
I thank you for reading and listening to my situation. Its wonderful to believe in Heros and knowing good is still around in this place we all call home.
Whatever help is appreciated, $800 is what I will need for direct bills and food but whatever help comes my way will help.
