I am a nurse and make a relatively decent pay ($35/hour), but we are still struggling heavily with our debt and inflation. My husband has been out of work for several years due to a severe mental health issue. He has been improving and is preparing to begin looking for a job soon (although he is worried about who will hire him after his stent with no work). During the time that he has been out of work, we have accumulated approximately $50,000 in debt. We do not own a home, we’re renting. Both of our vehicles are on their last leg… one has some serious computer issues going on and another needs a new transmission (but it’s cheaper to fix an old car now than it is to buy one). My credit has taken a terrible hit from medical bills and loans. I am looking for a better paying job but times are so hard. I don’t know how I’m going to pay my internet bill in the next two days, thank goodness rent and lights are taken care of. I am trying to sell my talents (crafts, readings, etc.) but it isn’t helping. Please. If anything, send some money our way to help keep food on the table.
