Hello there my name is Jennifer I was born in Texas and I’m currently 22 attending university trying to get a bachelor in psychology and hopefully a masters too because I want to teach people in the future… I signed up for summer classes because I thought I could get a loan to cover the classes but it didn’t work so I dropped my classes 5 days after classes started… and turns out they want me to pay 100% of it still…. It is so crazy they want me to pay for classes I didn’t take, and if you know about the 6 maximum drop classes in your lifetime, this used up all of it so now I can never drop classes either. In the past I had to drop all my classes because at the time my mom wouldn’t want to drive me to class and after 6 absences you get a failing grade so I decided to drop out so my gpa doesn’t suffer, and this is why I’m sticking to online classes because I can’t have dependable transportation. This is really devastating because it will suspend me financially I won’t be able to get classes for fall and I won’t be able to get financial help from the school either… I’m currently stuck abroad in Albania because a shit situation with my parents, and even now I don’t know how I’m going to survive with rent and food for the next months because at the moment I’m forced to live off school funds and I can’t work here or else they will suspend me from USA school. And my parents are poor and household of 6 so even if we were in good terms there’s no way they have spare 2,000. If the suspension doesn’t go through and I pay the classes I’ll be able to get money September at least, so I’m asking for at least help with these classes, at this point I’m so stressed out that I don’t care anymore if I have to eat pasta everyday I just want this nightmare of bills to end, this is really devastating and uncalled for I don’t understand how dropped out of my classes 5 days after still makes me pay all of it, and crazy how this can ruin my whole life and make me homeless. I don’t know why this exists in my university. Why do they make you pay full for classes you didn’t take? It’s so absurd. Living here I need 570 a month so 2,018 plus $10 late fee each month digs me six feet underground. :( I hope I can get some help at least, please if someone can it would literally be life changing.
