Cancer and Domestic Violence survivor needs emergency assistance for housing

I was unable to upload a picture.  IT said file not supported.  I am not tech savy.

I am a victim of domestic violence victim and battling cancer.  I have been staying at my daughter’s since my injuries from 2018.

I am begging from the tears in my eyes to the bottom of my heart to get assistance to maintain this apartment.

My daughter will be moving at the end of next month for a promotion through Ulta.

While seeing specialists for my injuries, an MRI and CT scan showed thyroid cancer, and thymus cancer.  It has recently come to attention that the cancer is and has been in the lymph nodes.

I have too many specialists to be able to leave the area with here.  I am looking at more tests and being referred for possible neck surgery very soon.

I have applied for SSDI and waiting for a hearing to be scheduled.  My lists of medical conditions has grown since I was first denied when COVID began.

I was not eligible for the stimulus check, which I do not know why but completed the IRS taxes in hopes of getting the stimulus.

I had applied for unemployment when I was unable to work but appeal was denied multiple times stating I do not have a base pay rate or something to that sorts.

It would be ideal to be able to keep her apartment when she moves.   It would be an extreme burden on me to travel a long distance (3 hours one way) to continue with my specialists.  To start over with new specialists would delay my treatment.

I have multiple doctors/specialists including:

  1. Oncologist
  2. Endocrinologist
  3. Pulmonary
  4. Thoracic
  5. Orthopedic Surgeon (future appointment)
  6. Pain Management Specialist
  7. Neurologist
  8. Gastroentrologist
  9. Allergist
  10. Primary Care Physician

My medical conditions/injuries related to my domestic violence injuries include

  1. Lymphoma
  2. Thymus Cancer
    1. partially resolved through surgery, January 2021
  3. Thymoma
  4. Thyroid Cancer
    1. resolved through surgery, August 2020
  5. cervical disc protrusion
  6. spinal stenosis
  7. neural foraminal narrowing to neck (C4 through C6)
  8. paresthesias (numbness in right fingers)
  9. myelopathy (nerve damage to spinal cord)
  10. obstructed jugular vein (right)
  11. chronic sinusitis
  12. memory loss
  13. Abnormal brain MRI
  14. COPD
  15. Emphysema

The low income housing apartments in this city is sparse with a long waiting list and the community of low income housing is not a safe or ideal place for me to consider.

It would be ideal for me to stay in the apartment my daughter is leaving as it is close to my specialists.

Thank you all so much.  I am not sure how this works but I am in hopes that if I do get my SSDI, I can repay you.  My pride has been swallowed but thank you so much in advance if you can help me.
