Boyfriend of 10years suddenly died.. I don’t have anything.. Please help me get back on my feet.

This is Charlie.. My boyfriend of 10 years.. He was my everything.. We were inseparable. Jan. 14th 2019 he was pistol whipped in the face multiple times by his friends boyfriend.. I rushed him to the hospital and they transported him to another hospital.. where he had surgery on his eye.. but was left completely blind in his left eye.. after 4 days in the hospital I was able to take him home.. (We did not have a home..) So we went to his mother’s to stay where he was able to rest and heal.. and I could be there to care for him..

He was never able to see again out of his left eye.. BUT I LOVED HIM ALL THE SAME.. IF NOT MORE!!….  10 MONTHS AFTER HIS EYE INJURY…. He collapsed out side of my car and yelled my name for me to come help him.. I ran to his side.. and helped him up and back inside my car.. where he began to hyperventilate and kept saying he couldn’t breathe.. I thought it was anxiety.. and I said to take some deep breaths and try and slow your breathing..

My mom lived 2 blocks away an I said do you want me to take you to my moms thinking maybe she would know what to do. He said yes. We pulled up and I had her come out she said she didn’t know how to help him.. then he said I need to go to the hospital.  So I immediately left and headed for the hospital.  Turning left to get on the onramp to the freeway.. his body went limp.. I shook him and did a sternum rub on his chest to try and get him to come to, begging for him not to leave me,, praying he would regain consciousness.. (ALL WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL) but he would not wake up.. HE DIED IN MY CAR ON THE WAY TO THE HOSPITAL ON OCTOBER 3RD. 2019.

HE WAS MY EVERYTHING…. HE WAS ALL I HAD.

Now your probably wondering how I became homeless to begin with.. My mother owned a restaurant for 13 years where I had worked as a server for 12 years. In fact she co owned it with her neighbor.. Who we found out was stealing from the restaurant and had stolen over a quarter million dollars from there business..  my mom took her to court. Where my mom won the hearing and was awarded full ownership of the restaurant with all it’s assets.. and all the debt and damages the lady had done.. And they lady who stole the money’s attorney went up to the stand and lied and said they were the prevailing party.. and so the judge had the wrong party ordered to pay thousands of dollars in attorney fees and such.. which left my mom more in debt then ever.. she was forced to file for bankruptcy and eventually we had to sell the restaurant.. which is where I lost my job and housing..

It has been really tough. ESPECIALLY WITHOUT CHARLIE..

I moved in with a friend who ended up stealing just about everything I owned and had my car towed away.. YES.. THE CAR CHARLIE DIED IN..  I LOST EVERYTHING.. SHE EVEN STOLE THE RING THAT I GOT FOR CHARLIE THAT HE USE TO WEAR.. HE NEVER TOOK THAT RING OFF..

AND DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.. A WAITRESSING POSITION IS NOT ONE THAT HAS BEEN REALLY NEEDED RIGHT NOW, AS EVERYTHING IS EITHER SHUT DOWN. OR BARELY MAKING IT RIGHT NOW..

I’VE LOST EVERYTHING,  INCLUDING MY BEST FRIEND (MY BOYFRIEND CHARLIE).

His mother has been very loving but has recently undergone some surgeries as she has cancer.. and can barely care for herself.. let alone help me..

So I’m asking for you to find it in your heart to lend a helping hand if you can do so.

 

I JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO, I DON’T HAVE ANYONE TO TURN TO, OR ANYONE I CAN LEAN ON.. AND IT’S KILLING ME.. IT’S SOOO HARD TO EVEN WANNA STAY STRONG AND CONTINUE MOVING FORWARD.. WHEN YOU’VE LOST EVERYTHING YOU’VE EVER WANTED AND NEEDED IN YOUR LIFE.
