Dear Madam or Sir,
I have never done this before and am at a point in my life where I see no other option.
A combination of events have coalesced into a dangerous set of circumstances that may result in the loss of my apartment.
I am 53 year old woman who has been self employed as a visual artist, house keeper, and residential housepainter, managing to carry my own load and make ends meet.
In late October 2021 I arrived at the emergency department at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada due to a life threatening loss of blood. (SORRY GROSS ALERT!) This was from passing huge clots of blood due to my monthly cycle and female complications.
At the emergency department my hemoglobin went as low as 37. I was then admitted to the hospital for care for several days and given iron infusions along with Tranexamic Acid to stop the bleeding. On my release from the hospital my hemoglobin was 45 and is still continuing to build up with subsequent iron infusions, iron rich foods and supplements.
My blood is slowly building up but I am still anemic and have fallen behind with my financial responsibilities. My doctors estimate my blood should be back to normal levels within the next three months dating from November 2021 and so should be able to get back on track to take care of myself and manage my affairs by February 2022.
I am including photos of my health card and my blood count information and proof of admission to Michael Garron Hospital and Iron infusion receipts as proof and confirmation of this occurrence. I have photos of the clots and would submit them if required but only on request as they are much too stomach turning and gruesome, which I feel would be unfair to subject anyone to.
I am seeking coverage of my rent for March 1st, 2022 in the amount of $800 as of this February 2022.
Being late with my rent with my landlord could result in eviction as I have a very well priced 1 bedroom apartment according to the current market and the apartments location. I am particularly nervous because my unit could be rented out for at least $1500 per month, if not more, making it quite attractive to evict me if I am late with my rent.
I am deeply grieved and embarrassed that I have come to a point where I have to request help for what I should be able to handle on my own.
If there is anyone out there who is empathetic to my plight and is willing to help me I can assure you I will do my utmost to repay any amount given that will enable me to be released from this heavy burden.
Yours Truly,
With Deepest Gratitude
