My name is Isaac Broussard, a Air Force Veteran that needs help. I live on my service-connected disability and perform rideshare. A couple months back, I had to put a set of tires of my vehicle to continue to provide rude share services. The positive part was I was able to find a set of tires at a great price but even with the great price it has caused me to fall behind. I struggle with severe depression and anxiety, 4 herniated discs and arthritis in my joints. I can go to the VA for medical care and have applied for an increase in my service-connected disability rating which will take several months to process. On side note the VA has been outstanding with the helping with my all-medical needs. Please excuse my digression but wanted to make that point. As mentioned previously, I drive for ride share to makes ends meet. Two weeks ago, the AC in my car went out and the costs will $2500 to repair. Repairs will consist of the compressor, two fans and replacing several leaking coolant lines. Because of this I have not been able to perform ride share putting me in a serious financial situation. I drive in the Houston Texas area, and we are in the dog days of summer. I can say with surety that not one person wants to ride share with the temperature in 95-to-100-degree weather. I thought about trying to perform the work myself but because of the physical limitations it is not possible. As it is most days I wake up with pain as well as stiff joints and attempting this would cause additional physical issues. I have reached out to the social workers at the VA which provided organizations that may be able to help but not one deals with vehicle repair issues. I have been told the same thing by the other organizations online as well as in the local organizations is the local community. The bottom line is I need these funds to get my car repaired to get back to my rides share responsibilities. I appreciate you taking the time to review this request and include my Paypal link. As a proud veteran that served this country it is truly embarrassing to have to request help, but I have no other options. It is a blessing that I ran across this site on YouTube.
PS. I can provide a copy of my DD214 as evidence of all military service.
