I am writing to share that I need a new motor for my vehicle. I recently had a botched spark plug replacement service done, and the service caused damage to the engine. I have researched the topic and found that spark plug replacement is a normal maintenance service that is recommended by the owner’s manual and by the vehicle’s manufacturer.
Unfortunately, the botched spark plug replacement service resulted in several issues with my car’s engine. These included the engine light turning on, overheating, knocking, and jerking (rough idle). The failures were due to the cylinder head, intake manifold, two intake bolts, and coolant lines not being refitted correctly according to the manufacturer’s specifications after the spark plug socket or removal tool became stuck in the engine cylinder and was removed during the service. Moreover during the inspection at Jim Keras Nissan, the mechanic determined that my vehicle requires a new engine. Thus, it is necessary or recommended to replace my vehicle’s engine.
