Dear Generous Souls,
I am sending out a heart-felt request for emergency funds to be able to buy 4 new tires for our car. At this point my wife and I are riding around on 3 other tires in a similar condition which is a dire safety hazard and could potentially lead to an accident and/or personal injury. Believe me, if we had the funds I would have bought them months ago. Add on inflation and all and you’re a little over $700 for a mid range type tire, nothing fancy.
My name is Michael 72yo and my wife is Suzanne 68yo. We moved from CT to Fl to retire but having very little savings at this point and only 2 Social Security checks each month, bad tires couldn’t have come at a worse time. This tire developed a large herniation and could have blown apart but Thank God it didn’t. We stopped and found a parking lot and called Roadside Assistance to put on our spare which we are driving on right now. The next day I went to a tire place and got a quote that I mentioned above. I wash shocked at the price since the ones on there cost just over $500 at the time. As everyone knows, tires are not a luxury item. It’s very stressful as senior citizens to not being able to afford them right away. It was a literal miracle that I even heard of this site the week before so I am requesting some urgent help in this matter. We are completely above board in this matter and would be eternally thankful for any generosity sent our way. We have never done anything like this before. I can tell you one thing though, if God somehow blesses us financially in the future, I will be first online to see how I could return the favor to others on this site. THAT would be amazing!!!
