Hello to you reader, my name is Stephen and I’m finding myself in s pinch over a vehicle I purchased earlier this year. Go back to December 27th if 2017 I was involved in a car accident that thankfully I survived. I was driving from working third shift and hit a patch of ice and ran into another vehicle going south as I was going west. It was the only car for my wife and I. A few weeks later we found out we were expecting our first child. After almost 5 years of trying to conceive I was convinced I could not have children. And go figure the year I do get this blessing I have no vehicle. So I borrowed cars from people who didn’t work the next day (being I worked third shift) or asked for rides daily. Until I saved up $2,000 to put down on a car. I’ve always had a bad run on used vehicles not from a dealer so I thought my best chance would be from a dealership. Well the only dealership that could give me a loan with what I was putting down at my credit put me in a 2012 Volkswagen CC. So I purchased it at a ridiculous apr ar 24%. $11,000 for a 7,000$ car. But I felt I was unfortunately at no other choice. So I purchased it. Well the vehicle was a front car and during a plowing of the road a rock impacted the windshield and cracked it. The dealer needed to fix it before selling it and took days to get the windshield fitted. When I got the vehicle I drove it to the gas station to fill up and when I did the car did not start up after filling. I got it started after 10 minutes and took it to the dealer. They then said there were no issues with the car it was fine. Well the car that didn’t just start on me says otherwise. They refused any help because they weren’t a “Volkswagen authorized dealer”. Well I drove the car out of the dealer fine and next I went to get gas a week later it happened again. It turned out there was a recall for the fuel pump on the car that had been pending for a little over a year that had “no solution”. So every time I got gas I’d have to jump start the car. Well finally it crap out on me and I had to have it towed 40 miles to the nearest Volkswagen dealer. They replaced the “faulty” fuel pump with a new one but with the same part that faulted out. So it drove until the actual recall came out months later. Well then my car started telling me there was no engine oil pressure. I had changed everything that it could possibly be except the oil pump and the whole motor. So I was told it was the oil pump. So I save up 1,000$ to fix the oil pump and no solution. I’ve had it to shop after shop and they all say the same thing. The motor is shot. All while I’m paying 450$ a month for the car that I had to have to help keep me employed. So all the money I can save up for a second vehicle goes toward my payment for a car I can’t drive. I’m just hoping someone out there that can relate feeling stuck like this and is willing to help. I just want to pay the turd off and get rid of it.
