I am a 53 year old chiropractor that has been servicing my community for over 20 years. I am a father of three college kids and am currently going through a divorce.
My practice has been impacted by two major insurance carriers that decided they were no longer going to pay me. They owe me in excess of $200,000. As you can imagine it is very difficult to operate without finances. I have moved my office to a smaller place and downsized to bare bones. I don’t have the money to hire an attorney to fight them but I actually have a US Senators office helping me. It seems to be progressing but it may take several months to resolve.
I find myself in a situation where I have simply run out of funds. No bank will give me a loan. The bills continue to come and I am overwhelmed by this reality. The revenue coming in right now is not sufficient to keep my doors open and pay for my basic needs. As I said earlier I know this matter will be resolved but I need to bridge that gap in order to survive.
I hope you can find it within yourself to help me get through this very difficult time and be able to get back on track. This is a strange place for me to be because I was always the one on the other side helping others.
Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated. I am very grateful for this site and knowing that there are people out there that are willing to give to help others. I want to thank you and hope you are repaid for your generosity.
