In the midst of growing inflation and demands of the remodeling industry, keeping up with the overall demand and meeting timeframes has been increasingly difficult. I would also like to help those in need of work by expanding my business and hiring good help. That said, I would like to be able to hire 1-2 people that would allow me to finish jobs quicker and meet the demands of a growing industry. My biggest obstacle is funding these employees upfront. My estimates have not included the labor of extra people. I would be forced to wait 6-7 months based on current backlog of work and already approved estimates before any new estimates could be figured. I am now beginning to include those costs in future estimates but am several months out from those projects beginning. So in the meantime, I would like to go ahead and hire additional help. I have sought other options like small business loans but those have generally required a minimum of $150,000 per year in gross sales to receive $10,000-$15,000. My gross business last year was $121,000 so just short of the minimum. Any help to get this going would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
